Sewing pattern description
The Spring trousers sewing pattern by The Modern Sewing Co was originally intended for breezy summer wearing in linens or silks however it also works well as a bold winter cut which can be made in corduroys, twills and wools.
Depending on the structure of your fabric the design will hang quite differently. A stiff fabric (even if it’s super lightweight) will hold the volume and the pleats and gathers will hold their own.
If your fabric is very soft and slippery the volume will be much more drapey and feel quite floaty to wear. Both options are beautiful in their own right.
