One side features a gentle curve, while the other is straight, giving you options to suit your project.
Both sides are marked with small holes at 0.5, 1, 2, and 3 cm, perfect for marking your fabric with precision. Plus, these holes are designed to let you pin through the hemmer without causing any damage and allow steam to pass through effortlessly to your fabric.
It’s not just for hems! Use it under fabric edges when ironing on fusible interfacing, the silicone ensures glue won’t stick. And if you’re working with a sleeve ham, the hemmer hugs the curve beautifully.
For pressing curves, it also offers two corner options that are perfect for getting professional results, especially on pockets. Pro tip: when working with thick fabrics, sew a line of stitching inside the seam allowance to evenly gather excess fabric along the curve for a flawless finish.
