This pattern will work great in woven fabrics such as cotton, viscose, cotton twill, linen, denim, chambray, wool and our favourite option, flannel.

Supplies you'll need
Dress:
- Fusible interfacing, 120 cm x 90 cm wide;
- Bias tape for pocket openings
- 11 buttons, diameter 12 mm
Coat:
- Fusible interfacing, 120 cm x 90 cm wide
- Bias tape for pocket openings
- 7 buttons, diameter 25 mm
- Lining, 30 cm x 140 cm wide.

Sewing pattern description
Diana is a shirt dress with patch and in-seam pockets as a light unlined coat sewing pattern.
It has all the traditional shirt dress characteristics, including a back yoke with a pleat and a collar stand.
You have the choice of two sleeve lengths and an optional belt.
Diana can be a pretty summer dress, or a light fall or winter coat, depending on the fabric you choose.
