Fabric requirements
Bralette
- 1/4 YD (0.2 M) MAIN FABRIC: Fabric that will be used for the lower bralette cups.
- 1/4 YD (0.2 M) COMBO FABRIC: Fabric that will used for the upper bralette cups.
- 1/4 YD (0.2 M) LINING FABRIC: Fabric that will be used for lining all pieces.
Knickers:
- 3/4 YD (0.7 M) MAIN FABRIC: Fabric that will be used for panty side panels.. Recommended main fabrics are stretch mesh and all over lace.
- 1/4 YD (0.2 M) COMBO FABRIC: Fabric that will be used for the panty centre front panel.
- 1/4 YD (0.2 M) LINING FABRIC: Fabric that will be used for lining the panty centre front panel.
Size range
- Bralette is available in sizes XS -4XL and cup sizes A/B, C/D and E/F for each alpha size.
- Knickers are available in sizes XS-4XL

- 5/8″ wide (3/16″ when folded);
- 1/2 yd flat elastic, 1″ wide;
- 1 1/4 yd elastic band, 1 1/2″ wide;
- 1 yd shoulder strap elastic;
- 2 pairs rings + sliders;
- 1 front closure;
- 1/2 yd plush channeling, 3/8″ wide;
- 1/2 yd plastic boning, 3/8″ wide or less

- 2 yd fold over elastic binding,
5/8″ wide (3/16″ when folded); - 1 1/4 yd elastic band,

Sewing pattern description
Maris by Madalynne is a bralette and knickers sewing pattern set.
Bralette sewing pattern
Bralette features a 3-part bra cup, a lower cup with a vertical seam that provides shaping and volume for all cup sizes and a triangle upper cup.
The bralette is finished with fold over elastic binding along the neckline and the underarm, and a wide elastic band at the bottom, which gives additional support.
Bralette also has adjustable shoulder straps and a front closure.
Knickers sewing pattern
The Maris knickers sewing pattern is a mid-rise thong with side panels. Leg openings are finished with fold over elastic binding and waistline is finished with a wide elastic band.
Pattern was designed to be made with fabrics that have 8-20% spandex. Recommend fabric for main and lining are stretch mesh, all over lace and Lycra.
Recommended linings are stretch mesh for sizes XS-L and A/B cups, and power net for sizes XL-4XL and C/D and E/F cups.
