The Modern Sewing Co PDF Unisex Shirt Sewing Pattern
The Unisex Shirt sewing pattern by The Modern Sewing Co is a classic men’s shirt cut that has been slightly modified to fit a wider range of body shapes.
The general silhouette is a neat but fairly broad shoulder with a very straight torso. Instead of narrowing towards the hips like typically male shaped cuts, there is slightly more room to accommodate the wider hip of more female body shapes.
This pattern comes with 3 different sleeve length options to tailor it to personal needs and the construction process follows classic shirt making methods.

Sewing pattern description
The Unisex Shirt sewing pattern by The Modern Sewing co is a classic men’s shirt designed to fit anyone looking for a lean and masculine shirt to wear.
Recommended fabrics: Mid-weight cotton such as poplin or a lightweight twill or denim. The cut lends itself well to a fabric with good structure. It’s best to choose a fabric with no elastane, though a 5% blend would still work fine.
If you’re choosing a heavier fabric such as a wool or heavier denim, you might want to make the next size up to account for the extra weight and make it more of a layering piece.
