Sewing pattern description
Taika is a shirt style dress sewing pattern from Named Clothing.
The curved waist seam runs below the bust at front, and the gathers at the bust and center back give volume and shape to the bodice, while the vertical seams of the skirt flatter and contour the body.
Fabric recommendations: Choose a light weight or medium weight non-stretch fabric. Depending on the desired result, you can either opt for a drapey fabric, such as rayon or Tencel, or a less drapey one, for example lightweight cotton or linen shirting.
