Description

This 15mm wide organic cotton fold-over elastic in black is both versatile and eco-friendly.

Made from 60% GOTS-certified organic cotton sourced from Turkey and dyed in Germany, and 40% natural rubber from Malaysian plantations, this organic cotton elastic combines comfort with sustainability.

The natural rubber is FSC certified, ensuring it is harvested under fair and safe conditions while protecting the environment. FSC certification prohibits harmful practices like pesticide use and deforestation, and supports sustainable forest management, with 10% of the land preserved as natural forest. By adopting regenerative farming methods, farmers improve latex yields, capture more carbon, and create new income opportunities, benefiting both the planet and the farming communities.

Care Instructions:

  • Machine wash up to 40°C (with a maximum shrinkage of 5%)
  • Iron on medium heat if needed
  • Use liquid detergent for optimal care and environmental benefit
  • Do not tumble dry
