Sew Projects’ Willow knickers sewing pattern is perfect for a confident beginner.
This lingerie pattern has a special panel that you can decorate with fabrics of your choice. You can also add a trim for a vintage look, or leave it plain for something more sophisticated.
The knickers have full bottom coverage and a standard leg opening. You can choose either a high waist or hipster style — the high waist style comes up to your natural waistline, while the hipster style comes up to just above your hip bone.

Sewing pattern description
To sew Willow knickers sewing pattern by Sew Projects you will need both stretchy and non stretchy.
For side and back sections chose light to medium weight stretch fabric such as jersey, stretch satin, stretch mesh, stretch lace, all with approx. 50% stretch.
For the centre panel chose non stretch woven fabrics such as cotton, lace, embroidery, silk, satin.
For the gusset liner chose cotton jersey fabrics.
Whilst sewing Willow Knickers you will learn how to insert a neat invisible gusset and gusset liner, how to apply lingerie elastic and incorporate both stretch and rigid fabrics together.
This knickers sewing pattern is perfect for you if you have a small amount of experience with sewing on a sewing machine but want to challenge yourself further and come out with a unique and rewarding creation that you can wear.
