This See You at Six French Terry fabric is all about fun, featuring the ultimate summer vibe – flip flops on a bold red backdrop.
While French Terry is often linked with cooler days, it’s a brilliant option for spring and summer too. Just look at the easy-going t-shirts and comfy shorts made for their photoshoot!
The shade of red leans strongly towards orange, making it warm, rich, vibrant, and highly saturated.
The bright red base paired with the playful print makes this fabric a true summer standout. Each flip flop set measures around 5cm, adding just the right touch of whimsy to your sewing projects.
Soft to the touch with 4-way stretch, this fabric offers about 40% stretch. It’s thicker than single cotton jersey or interlock, but lighter than brushed sweatshirt fabric.
Whether you’re sewing hoodies, sweatshirts, cardigans, dresses, joggers, shorts or even t-shirts, French Terry is up for it. You’ll spot the classic tiny loops on the back, which help air to flow and make the fabric breathable and gently insulating.
To complete your makes, See You at Six offers coordinating solid color French Terry and 2×1 ribbing, dyed to match for a polished finish on neckbands, waistbands and cuffs.
