Fabric description
Our organic cotton embroidered fabric with Mimosa applique is one of our most cherished sustainable fabrics.
Ideal for special occasions such as wedding dresses or veils, this fabric can also be used to sew everyday looks like shirts or a simple, eye-catching dresses.
The applique flowers are securely attached but feature petals that lift slightly, adding a beautiful dimensional touch.
The embroidered flowers replicate the shape of the applique Mimosa flowers, creating a stunning visual effect with varying textures and techniques.
The fabric also has a gorgeous scalloped edge, perfect for adding a romantic touch to any garment.
Since this organic cotton fabric is slightly sheer, we recommend pairing it with our organic cotton voile fabric for skirts or the skirt part of a dress.
To care for this fabric, wash it on a gentle cycle and avoid tumble drying. Note that this fabric may shrink by about 2%, so be sure to prewash or steam it before cutting.
