Dark green gingham cotton poplin fabric is a timeless choice for building a me-made wardrobe.
The rich, classic green makes it ideal for all sorts of sewing projects – from comfy pyjamas to breezy summer tops and light spring dresses.
With a small check pattern measuring 2.7mm x 2.7mm, this fabric offers a subtle, traditional look. It’s yarn-dyed, so the gingham design runs through both sides. This can be a lovely detail, though we recommend beginners mark the right and wrong sides to keep things simple.
Cotton poplin is a brilliant option for those just starting out – it’s stable, easy to handle, and usually doesn’t need much pinning.
