Fabric description
We are very excited to bring back Violet viscose crepe fabric by Eglantine et Zoe.
This viscose crepe has subtle bumps and ripples that gives it a soft, matte texture which feels warm and cosy against your skin – perfect for creating something both stylish and comfortable.
One of the best things about crepe is its fabulous bouncy drape. It’s perfect for sewing feminine, figure-skimming, and beautifully flattering garments. We especially adore it for boxy or straight-cut patterns – it adds just the right touch of softness and elegance.
A quick tip: Always pre-wash your crepe fabric, as it tends to shrink (and we wouldn’t want any surprises later!).
Top Tip: If you’re using iron-on interfacing, make sure to block fuse the fabric before cutting – it makes the process so much smoother.
