Classic 2×1 rib knit fabric is a great way to add a final touch your #memade outfit. Cotton ribbing is perfect for finishing necklines, cuffs and waistbands.
2×1 refers to the very defined texture of the fabric, where you have visible ridges. This texture adds great elasticity to the fabric.
Black ribbing works really way on fitted patterns that need a lot of stretch like turtleneck tops such as Nikko by True Bias and dresses or smaller projects such as hats and even underwear.
Our Mind the Maker 2×1 cotton rib knit matches perfectly to organic brushed sweatshirt range, so you can go for tonal matchy matchy look or opt for contrasting ribbing.
