The story begins with a little girl Zoe and her beloved cat Eglantine.
Story of how it all began
Zoe started designing at the age of 7 using her staples and Eglantine quickly became her first critic and spectator. Fascinated by fabrics too, she rolled around in off cuts, snuggled up against the sewing machine and purred in long dresses. When the time came to transform her childhood passion into a profession, it was obvious that Eglantine would have a role to play.
The fabrics and quality
Fabrics are created in France in their design studio, then manufactured in Europe, mainly in Portugal. The factories and mills that manufacture Eglantine et Zoe fabrics work with respect for people and constantly seek to improve their processes that have environmental impacts. The electricity it uses comes 100% from solar and wind power. It does not use any hazardous chemicals and has ISO 9001 and REACH certifications.
Thanks to these partnerships and this direct work, all the fabrics they offer meet the standards of the Oeko-Tex charter.
